Frog Director

Cory Childs founded Frog Lacrosse in 2014 to start a program that focused on training and teaching the game of lacrosse. Prior to starting Frog, Cory was the director of True Minnesota Lacrosse in 2012/13, and the founder of Minnesota Frost Lacrosse in 2007. Cory was born in California and moved to Minnesota in 1992 with his family when he was 4. Cory played many sports growing up including soccer, football, hockey, and found lacrosse in the RAVE(Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan) program in late 1990s. Cory began his coaching career teaching indoor lacrosse in the Dakota Lacrosse program, and later started the Savage Turf Surfers in 2005. Cory’s playing career include Prior Lake high school where he was Captain of his high school team and team MVP for three years (2005, 2006,2007). Cory earned All-State honors the same year boys lacrosse became a formal MSHSL sport (2007). From there Cory moved on to play NCAA D3 lacrosse at Trine University and Carthage College. Each summer Cory always returned home to coach the Frost Lacrosse program and teach the game.

All-Conference (2005, 2006, 2007) and All-State (2007)
Played NCAA D3 Lacrosse At Trine University and Carthage College (2007-2011)
MLC Leading scorer and 8th overall in the nation (2009)
MLC Pre-season Player of the Year (2010)
MLC All-Conference (2011)
MLC Leading Scorer (2011)
Finished Collegiate career with 216 points
